"Munkae trucks make me smile alot, I have tried plenty of DH trucks, and they are all good, Munkaes are just stand out amongst the others, the attention to detail, build quality and ride are just better than other trucks. Even though the hanger width is a tad too wide for me, I would rather Skate munkaes than another truck. Great trucks at high speed, I can even shred the slalom course we set up on our local hill! haha! These trucks combined with Cult wheels gives me total speed boner. Theres this sick feeling of being locked into a grippy corner, but just a quick flick and you can slice off just the right amount of speed with accuracy. Cant wait for a narrower Munkae hanger! Joey says: "Where to start, they aren’t bananas, they’re better than bananas. Out of the bubble wrap they’re straight, that’s more than most other companies can boast. They also stay straight. Aside from all of the ‘well, they’re not bent,’ aspects, these trucks are the most stable I’ve ridden. The seemingly form-fitted bushing seat and overall ‘precision’ of the truck makes for a predictable, controlled, and stable ride unlike any other brand I’ve put under my feet. Since dawning my first pair of Munkae trucks in ’09, I knew I would never ride anything else so long as I can skate. They’re great for free-ride, the precision axels provide even wear and my wheels never bounce. All in all, if you find yourself blaming your gear for why you suck, you’ll never be able to say it was those damn Munkaes." |

Most people know Jeff Budro as the man who makes the Sector 9 team run like a well-oiled machine, but not everyone is aware that Jeff has been a DDC Team Rider since we started puttin trucks on the market!! Jeff has a true love for our sport, and when he's not bombing and sliding, he can be found putting on events to spread the stoke, filming crazy riders for our entertainment, and being a friend to all living things. I once saw Jeff resuscitate a rattlesnake... mouth to mouth. |

"I've ridden alot of precision trucks over the last 10 years that I've been bombing hills and Munkaes definitely offer one of the nicest rides out there. Since I always have raced on a top-mount deck I have been searching for a truck that was low to the ground and stable for many years.. Josh Rolf and the DDC provided my answer. Munkae trucks do both of those, while still being responsive. They are also quite strong as I have (accidentaly) ground my Munkae trucks into a curb at around 30mph and somehow managed to ride away. Axles are still strait as a arrow. Its hard to find one truck that i can use to drift super-tight narrow hairpins on and go 70mph..Munkaes are great at both. Plus I heard if you buy some Munkaes you get a years supply of bananas! sweet deal!" |
